Coronavirus Guidance
We are continuing to observe and uphold certain important safety measures to protect both our staff and the public from COVID-19 as we move through 2025. These measures remain essential to ensure everyone’s health and wellbeing, especially as new variants and public health guidance evolve. To provide the best service in a safe environment, you will require an appointment for all services we offer at the practice. This helps us manage patient flow and reduce waiting times while maintaining social distancing protocols.
If you have any concerns or questions related to COVID-19 or your eye care needs, such as ordering or collecting spectacles or contact lenses, we encourage you to contact your local branch directly. Our team will be more than happy to discuss your specific requirements in detail and make all necessary arrangements to see you promptly and safely.
Upon arrival, you will be asked to clean your hands thoroughly with the hand sanitiser provided at the entrance. Maintaining good hand hygiene remains one of the most effective ways to reduce the spread of infections, including COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses. We continue to practise social distancing measures wherever possible within the practice to minimise close contact and ensure everyone’s safety.
In addition, all surfaces in our practice will be continually cleaned and disinfected throughout the day to maintain the highest standards of hygiene. This includes all frequently touched areas such as door handles, counters, and equipment. We are committed to providing a clean and safe environment for all our patients and staff members.
If you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19—such as a new continuous cough, a high temperature, or a loss or change in your sense of smell or taste—we kindly ask that you do not attend the practice in person. If you are unsure whether your symptoms are related to COVID-19, please visit the official NHS website for the latest symptoms checker and guidance: www.nhs.uk/coronavirus
Following these precautions helps protect us all and, most importantly, supports the ongoing efforts of the NHS. We thank you sincerely for your continued support, patience, and understanding during these times. Please stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you under safe and comfortable conditions very soon.
